Our company

Hunajainen SAM Oy is a second generation Premium Honey Company from Finland.

Everything began when our founder Kari Koivulehto got his first beehive as a christmas present in 1964. Ten years later Kari started teaching bee keeping and honey research in University of Helsinki. Kari’s enthusiasm led to the founding of our company in 1987.

Active operation in honey industry

We are very active in the most important international forums of honey industry: European federation of honey packers and distributors FEEDM, Fair Trade, European Association of Fruit and Vegetable Processors PROFEL. ETC
